RILCO is a rapidly expanding building materials distribution company covering all of Ireland. We currently require an experienced logistics/operations person to run the office.
Reporting directly to the MD of the company the role involves a high degree of flexibility and the opportunity to put your own stamp on the role.
Experience in three key areas is required. Inventory planning, warehousing and transport as you will be required to control the movement of building materials from our suppliers to our customers.
Supporting the sales staff to ensure orders are processed in a timely manner, documentation is correct and deliveries arrive to site on time. Good interaction with the sales team is a vital part of the day to day business.
On any given day you could be dealing with enquiries from an architect, contractor, builders merchant, supplier or member of the public so some sales experience would be beneficial but it is not a critical element of the role.
You must have a pleasant manner and 3+ years of experience in a similar role in the Construction Industry
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Customer focused with strong organisational skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Experience with managing inventory, delivery notes and invoicing is essential.
IT skills and a good telephone manner essential.
Forklift licence and own transport essential.
