Neptunus Fibre Cement Corrugated Sheeting Project, Co Louth

• Refurbishment of 8 grain stores totalling 10500m2 on a farm in Milestone, Castlebellingham, Co. Louth
• 50-year-old asbestos cement sheeting replaced with Neptunus Fibre Cement Corrugated Sheeting (bronze green) providing a complete waterproof solution to protecting the stored feedstuffs.
• SVK Neptunus sheeting was the perfect replacement, as the sheets have a long life span, outstanding colour retention, 100% non-drip and have a superior fitting system.
• There were 8 adjoining roof sections with different roof pitches and several valley gutters to replace. Some of the steel purlins needed replacing and the elevator system had to be protected, not to mention the removal of the asbestos sheeting.

Brouder Brothers Steel Ltd, based in Rathangan, County Kildare were in charge of the refurbishment. Brouders are licensed and insured in the removal of asbestos materials in Ireland, and have over 25 years experience in engineering, fabrication and erection of commercial and agricultural buildings.
